Our Story

Har Tarah Da Work, Meant Literally

The line on our signboard is not marketing. It is a description of how the shop actually runs. A customer walks in with a fabric and a photo on her phone, and everything after that happens inside this building.

That was the point from the start. Around here a single suit could easily involve four counters. One shop for the cloth, another for the printing, a third for the stitching, a fourth for the dupatta piko. Every handover is a chance for the fabric to go missing, the thread colour to be slightly off, or the delivery date to quietly slip by a week.

So we put it all under one roof, on our own machines, handled by the people you speak to at the counter. That is the only reason we can promise a date and keep it.

How the Shop Grew

One Service at a Time

It Started With Silai

Ladies suit stitching, taken one order at a time from customers in and around Bagla Market. Everything since has been built on that.

Piko and Finishing Followed

Customers kept asking where to get a dupatta finished properly. Rather than send them elsewhere, we added piko, lace and edging at the counter.

Then Munyari

The same customers were hunting for matching thread, lining, zips and buttons across the market. Now the munyari counter stocks what we ourselves use daily.

Printing and Handwork

Suit chapai and embroidery came in so a design could be planned against the actual cut, not bought as a ready made panel that fits nobody exactly.

Jewellery and Rental

Artificial jewellery so sets could be matched against the finished outfit, and outfit rental so a one day function does not need a full price purchase.

And Training

Young women kept asking to learn. That turned into structured practical training for ITI and Fashion Designing students, taught on working machines.

What We Hold To

How We Work

Measure the Person

Fresh measurements every order, including posture and shoulder slope. A size chart describes an average nobody actually is.

Say It Before Cutting

If a fabric will not hold the shape you want, we tell you then. It is a shorter conversation than an alteration afterwards.

Finish the Inside Too

Clean seams, secure linings, set sleeves, flat hems. The parts nobody photographs decide how long a suit survives.

Trials Are Standard

A trial fitting and the corrections after it are in the price, not a favour and not an extra line on the bill.

Keep the Date

Function work is planned backwards from your event with fitting time built in, not squeezed in at the end.

Quote Once

The price agreed before cutting is the price at delivery. Nothing appears on the bill that was not discussed first.

Training Legacy

Passing the Skill On

Teaching was never part of the plan. It started because young women kept coming in and asking whether they could learn, and turning them away felt wrong when the machines were right there.

Now it is structured. A Fashion Designing course that runs from taking a first measurement through to pricing your own work, and ITI practical training for students who need supervised workshop hours mapped to their trade syllabus.

Students train on live orders, not practice cloth. When the fit has to be right and the delivery date matters, the learning sticks in a way that a sample square never manages.

  • Small batches on the same machines the shop runs on
  • Morning, afternoon and evening timings, Monday to Saturday
  • Certificate on completion, and documentation for ITI students
  • Guidance on pricing, delivery dates and stock for anyone setting up alone
