What garments do you stitch?

Punjabi suits, Patiala salwar suits, Anarkali, sharara, plazo sets, kurtis, palazzo sets, blouses and gowns, all cut to your own measurements. The full list is on the suit stitching page.

How long does a stitched suit take?

A plain suit is usually 3 to 5 days, a kurti 2 to 4 days, and an Anarkali or plazo set 5 to 8 days. Bridal and heavy function work runs 3 to 6 weeks. Full turnaround times are on the pricing page.

Do I need to bring my own fabric?

You can bring your own, or choose from dress materials stocked in store. Either way we check the fabric suits the design before cutting.

How should I take my measurements?

We take fresh measurements in person for every order. If you want to prepare or send an approximate size ahead, the size guide explains each measurement and the common mistakes.

Is a trial fitting included?

Yes, and the corrections after it are included too. Standard suits get one trial, and bridal or heavy pieces get two to three, scheduled as explained on the bridal and party wear page.

What is suit chapai?

Custom printing applied to unstitched suit fabric before cutting. Single motifs, neck panels, borders and all over prints are all possible. See the suit printing page.

Is there a minimum order for printing?

No. Single suits are welcome. Bulk work for functions or shops is quoted separately, so call ahead if several pieces are needed on the same date.

Which fabrics take print best?

Cotton and cambric give the sharpest, longest lasting result, followed by rayon and muslin. Georgette and chiffon take light prints only. Silk and heavy party fabric is usually better with handwork. The full table is on the printing page.

Can embroidery be added to a suit I already own?

Yes, though placement options are more limited than on uncut fabric because the seams are already closed. Bring it in and we will show you what is possible. See embroidery and handwork.

How long does embroidery take?

A single neck motif is a few days. A full yoke panel or bridal handwork takes one to three weeks depending on the density, so book well ahead of a function date.

Can you do alteration the same day?

Yes for standard jobs like hemming, length changes and taking in at the sides, provided you come in the morning. Neck reshaping needs 24 to 48 hours. See the alteration page.

Do you alter clothes bought elsewhere?

Yes. Most alteration work we do is on readymade pieces bought from other shops or online. The garment does not need to have been stitched with us.

How long does dupatta piko take?

Usually about 30 minutes, so most customers wait at the counter. Pagg piko is normally the same visit. Bulk work for a wedding is better with a day of notice. See the piko and lace page.

Can you match the piko thread to my fabric?

Yes. We hold a wide thread range from our munyari stock, so the stitch line blends into the fabric rather than standing out against it.

Can I buy tailoring material without getting stitching done?

Yes. Threads, buttons, zips, laces, elastic, linings, hooks, trims and needles are sold separately at the counter. See tailoring material and munyari.

Do you supply tailors and students in bulk?

Yes. Bulk rates apply for tailors and students buying in quantity, and course students get student rates on practice material.

Do you sell jewellery to match a stitched suit?

Yes. Earrings, necklace sets, maang tikka, bangles, hair accessories and full bridal sets are stocked, and picked against your finished outfit rather than separately. See artificial jewellery.

What is available on rent?

Lehengas and heavy occasion wear. Rental suits a one day function better than buying an outfit outright. See the outfit rental page.

Is a deposit needed for rental?

Yes, a refundable security deposit is taken separately from the rental charge, and cleaning terms are explained before you take the outfit. Full terms are on the terms and conditions page.

Do I need experience to join the training?

No. The Fashion Designing course starts from measurement and basic machine handling. If you already stitch at home, say so and we will place you at the right module.

What are the batch timings?

Morning 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, afternoon 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and an evening batch 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM subject to availability, Monday to Saturday. See the training page.

Do you take ITI students for practical training?

Yes, in sewing technology, dress making and related garment trades. Attendance is recorded and completion documentation is issued. See ITI practical training.

Is a certificate given?

Yes, on completion of the course. ITI students also receive the attendance and practical work documentation their institute requires.

How do I place an order?

Call +91 98555 86300, message us on WhatsApp, book an appointment online, or walk into the shop in Bagla Market during opening hours.

Do I need to pay an advance?

Booking an appointment costs nothing. For large or bridal orders an advance is usually taken once the design is settled, and it is adjusted against the final bill. See the terms and conditions.

Is the quoted price final?

Yes. The price agreed before cutting is the price at delivery. If you request a change midway that adds work, we tell you the revised cost at that point. See the pricing page.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, at Tibbi Sahib Road, Bagla Market, Sri Muktsar Sahib. Directions and landmarks are on the contact page.

What if I am not happy with the fit at delivery?

Tell us at collection rather than taking it home. Fit corrections on work we have stitched are part of the price, not an extra charge.
